Russ Kaplan and Sara Wordsworth are critically acclaimed musical theatre writers, whose fun shows pack an honest emotional punch. Sara and Russ are one half of the writing team behind the groundbreaking Broadway musical In Transit, the first a cappella musical ever to appear on Broadway (along with James-Allen Ford and Academy Award-winner Kristen Anderson-Lopez). For its original Off-Broadway run, In Transit received the most award nominations of any Off-Broadway musical in 2010, including Lucille Lortel, Drama Desk, Drama League, and Outer Critics Circle nominations.

In addition to Broadway, Russ and Sara have created shows and content for television, arenas, recordings, tours, concerts, and live entertainment venues all over the world. Notable collaborators include Disney, Phish, The Elf on the Shelf, and New York City Children's Theater.
